In class today...

In class today are assignment was to go over one an others narrative in English today. We had to read over at least two different papers out loud. But in my group we each read the whole paper to each other and wrote what we thought the focus was,the overall response,if their were grammar issues, is it detailing and i forgot the other one i think. Me and this girl name Lauren papers was sort of about the same thing but a slight difference. My paper was about me transitioning into my senior year and how i receive a teacher on my schedule that i don't like because of the bad things i heard,like the long papers she assigned her students, and i knew i didn't have the experience of writing a well written paper. But in the middle of the year towards the end, I end up liking the teacher and it was almost like we became best friends. She taught me so much and definitely i knew how to write a paper because of her and i appreciated her and never will go by anyone judgements of a person, i will find out myself. I had some misspelled things and my paper, and some more things but overall i learned the mistakes i made because somebody else read it to me instead of reading it to myself.

My Thoughts from Richardson Story...

For the reading discussion we had in class last Wednesday September 21,2011 was quite interesting. We went over the story that we was a assigned to read and it was very interesting. She talk about different situation she was in,how she reacted and what did she think about them. I thought it was a very interesting story  and the things she talks about is real life situation's that went on back then and still going on in today society.But personallly i agree where she coming from with the situation about her and the older guy because even though she tried to show movement that she wanted him off her she didnt say anything,nor did she stand up for herself meaning she knew what he wanted but if she knew she didnt want to do anything with him then she didnt have to. Yes she  was young but if i was in her position i know whats right and wrong skip trying to give a man his needs, i feel he better go and find someone his own age.

English 1050 'Hey Baby"

In English 1050 today we was talking about a situation of a guy approaching a female saying "Hey Baby". I'm from Detroit East side so the guys down there are good for trying to talk to a female with that saying no matter how old they are or you are. They do not care because if you are attractive, and your body look nice to them they want to talk to you. They'll say "hey baby you sexy" and plenty more, and it's get irritating because it's certain way's a guy can get a female attention in a respectful way. They do not understand that though, and that's why a lot of guy's get rejection from a lot of females. Then you have some guys that know they are attractive and that they can get any female they want no matter how they approach her. I personally do not give guys my number if they approach me in way's like this and other way's that's not respectful, but i guess these guys will learn some day that we want gentlemen no lowlife,disrespectful guy because they should realize that they wouldn't want anyone talking to their mother,sister,cousin and any other female that they care for like the way they talk to other females.

I am from a place where houses are burned down, abandoned and raggedy, I am from a place where no one is friendly. I am from a place where no one can have it all , I am from a place where everyone has downfalls. I am from a place where a person is worried about the next, I am from a place where everyone trys to impress.I am from a place where now and days you cant have fun, I am from a place where everyone mindset is guns. I am from a place where we have alot a things to do, I am from a place where are young black males barely finish school. I am from a place where lot's are struggling, I am from a place where lots cant handle it. I am from a place where one rob,steal, and kill, I am from a place where one cant work hard to afford a meal. I am from place where I have a big family that i can trust, Im from a place where i love my family so much. I am from a place that's my home,yes we have problems,I just wish we all will get alone.

Introduction to me

Hello I am Vaness Thompson,I attend Western Michigan University for Pre-law because they do not have a law school here,but after i graduate i will attend Wayne State University law school for my law degree.I actually do not know what i will be talking about in this blog,but i know it will be information pertaining to my English 1050 class.
