In class...

Lately in class we been going over the elements of our project three in English 1050. It is a "unfamiliar genre and it consists of  how many journals that was expected of you everyone 's is different but we all had to have journals. A presentation that's like three to five minutes along with whatever genre choice we pick. She told us what everything should look like and if we had any questions we can ask her and let her know or email her. The last class she ask us when do we want to present because she was trying to give us a break and have the Monday off before thanks giving break. But a lot of people thought they were'nt going to be ready so they told her Wednesday and Monday instead of Monday and Wednesday. But my professor decide to still give us that Monday off and i guess whoever ready to present can present their things and get it out the way. This project was fun and I'm kind of glad that I chose the genre that i wanted to do and it was different and creative.

The for Colored Girls Play...

Last Monday November the seventh my Professor gave her students the opportunity to go see the "for colored girls play" at seven in the evening. I went because i never really watched the movie when it came out. I can honestly say that was the best play ever that I went to out of my eighteen years. I seen parts of the movie but i didn't know it was that deep. The play was wonderful and all the actors were great. I almost cried in the play because i was stunned of some of the things i saw that happened. I'm so glad i decided to go and happy I didn't miss the play. It was worth the two hours it lasted and my time. The words that were said were so deep and the actions were so real and it made me wanted to watch the movie again from the beginning.

Last weekend....

I had a boring weekend because i had to work all weekend. Friday i had to work from nine at night to one o'clock in the morning. It was a boring day at work i was tired and sleepy and tried to get homework but I couldn't because there was a lot going on that day. I work at the front desk and since there was alot of people in the lobby people were trying to sneak pass and  it was making me upset. It went by and once i got off i invited my friend over because i never can go to sleep right away after work. Saturday came and my friends and i decided to get out and take a trip to walmart. We was at Walmart all day just shopping in things like that. We finally got finish after being there for about three hours and went back to the dorm and just chilled all day and watch movies until it was time for me to go to work. I had to work late that night so i took a nap before i went and since it was daylight savings the next day we had to work an extra hour but we got paid for it. I was mad because i already didn't want to work that night, but Igot over it because I didn't have a choice to work that night. Sunday I slept in because i was tired and woke up and did my homework all day.

Extra Credit...

Last Thursday on October 27, 2011 my teacher gave us the advantage to go to a third coast reading at the brow hall for extra credit. So i end up going and it was nice. The first person that got up and spoke was a guy i forgot his name because i kond of walk in a little late. But he stood up and front of eveyrone and read all of his work that he written which were poems that was very deep to me. I had alot of favorite ones but he was very gifted. The experience of going their was shocking because the words he were saying i didnt think i will be hearing there. He has a lot of talent and special gift that no one has. He did a good job and im glad i went. The second person was a lady and she was good. She shared a piece of her work which was a story. It was very nice to and it was really interesting. Im not sure if i was a true story but it surely sounded like it. The only thing is it was real long and i started to get bored after a while until she got closer to the end and she stop because it was time to go. I wish she would have read the story to the end because i wanted to know what happen but iverall it was a good experience.
