My English Professor

This semester i learned a lot from my English professor. I came to college and i know i needed to work on my grammar. My grammar is horrible i admit but my English professor improved it a little., She was a great professor because not only did i learned alot, her class was interesting and fun.She mad all of our assignments fun and important at the same time. I appreciate her this semester because she didn't really have to teach us anything, but she chose to do so. I hope you read this I was glad to have you as a professor this semester and i will contact you if i nee your help with anything in my future English classes.

Western then and Now...

The way students dressed is not the only thing that has changed over the years. Western has a lot more activities for students to participate in. Students could never get bored on this campus. There are lots of organizations to join.  The most popular ones are RSO’s and Greek Life. RSO’s are registered student organizations, organizations created by students for students. Over 300 RSO’s exist on Western’s campus today.  There are 25 active sororities and fraternities active on campus today. Sure Western has changed over the years but only for the better. Western will continue to grow academically and socially making Western the right place to be.

College life to me...

  College life to me is when you have freedom to do whatever you please without anyone giving you rules, but it’s up to you if you take advantage of the college life. It’s ok to have fun but priorities come first before partying. If you are paying a significant amount of money to attend college then why play around and fail classes and not get your money’s worth. College is very expensive but it is worth because without college experience I believe you will absolutely not receive a well paying job to take care of yourself definitely when you get up in age unless you get lucky. College life is full of challenges, tests, responsibilities, decisions, and priorities that one will have to make in order to succeed. There will be lots of parties to attend so one can miss out on a party, but if one want to succeed in college stay focus and make wise choices and don’t let anyone persuade you otherwise because I know I will not. However I know what my job is in college, I know why I am here, yes I will have fun living the college life but I’m going to stay on task, get my money’s worth, accomplish my goal, be responsible, and do whatever else it takes to be successful during my college experience.

Next semester...

            Next semester I will just study harder for my exams, because that was my biggest problem this semester. I came to college to be successful, and I’m not going to let anything else discourage me like that again I will just try harder if something goes wrong. I’m going to become a great reader because it will help me with my career in the future.  I will try to read more next semester, and read a head sometime. I will study more next semester because I didn’t study enough, but next time that will make a difference on my exams so I will get better grades. But I will not study too much causing me too forget everything. Overall I had a great experience this semester I learned a lot and I will do better next semester than I did this semester.

Professors....

I honestly do not think that professors should pass on students who shouldn’t deserve it. What I mean by that is if you do not come to class all the time, don’t participate , or at least try to put a effort in class then that person is not ready to move on to the next level. Its different when a person does the opposite come to class every day on time, participate all the time but still seem to get bad grades then something is wrong. Sometimes it’s hard for some students to tell their professors that their having problems with certain things, so than the professor should try to help the student definitely if they are doing all they can in still getting non passing grades. Some professors do that and some don’t. They feel we all grown and if we need help with anything we should be able to speak up so we can take care of the problem.

This semester...

Overall this semester was ok. But it was different for me because i had a hard time with a class i shouldn't have with in my opinion. It was government and i feel that way because i took it in high school and some stuff i remember but some stuff i didn't know because i went to a Detroit public school; who don't teach you nothing. So when we go to college we be lost and its like we starting all over, and should be like that. But next time i will just study harder because i can do nothing about what i haven't learned already, i will just focus on the present in the future and leave the pass behind

Finals...

Finals were so stressful for a lot of us because we are coming out of high school. High school finals were not the same as college finals. College finals are much more harder and stressful because we try our best to do goo on them. In high school we had teachers that were more lenient and in college we have professors that are not so easy. Some of them will work with you, then you have some that will not. This semester i didn't have hard finals on my classes except one and that class  was very hard. I did everything and i just couldn't seem to pass an exam. I study alot and i manage to get the same score them but i didn't give up i kept trying. I brought my grade up and now i hope i get the grade i think i earned. But finals isn't a joke, and i wasn't prepared for them but next time i will be.

Project 4

For  project for we had to do a  multi genre which was our last project of the class and our final too. We had to pick a topic and do an introduction page and three other genres of our choice. I like this project because i got a chance to express myself about something that's important to me. I chose to do a project on Single mothers because i  were raised by one and she did a great job. The main point was to prove the statistics are wrong, and how some parents can raised their children to be good children without the other parents even though is not fair at all. The mother is the one mainly taking care of her children by herself because the father is no where to be found, in jail or killed, you never know with men. I had fun doing this project, and I feel that I did a good job.
